Year 6 Students ask: "What is God like?"

L.I: identify God's image as described in the New Testament.



Mark 14:36, “We think that this means that God is described as The
Father, and he can take our suffering away.”
Luke 15:8, “We think that this means we should repent for our sins,
because God will forgive us.”
Matthew 23:37, “We think that this means God is described as a hen
that checks and put her wing around us.”
Luke 13:20-21, “We think that this means God is like a baker, making
bread.”
John 10:1-18, “We think that this means God is a loving kind person
like Jesus.”
John 15:1, “We think that this means God is a gardener and we are a
plant, he will reach out and take care of us.”
John 10:11“We think that this means Jesus is a good shepherd, who
will lay down his life for the sheep.”
John 8:12, “We think that this means God is described as a torch that
will lead the way for us.”
John 6:51, “We think that this means Jesus is the living bread.”
Colossians 1:15, “We think that this means God is the ruler and king
of all living things.”
Matthew 16:15-16, “We think that this means God is the father of us and the holy Messiah.”

  4. Kia ora, my name is Delina and I got to Kawakawa primary school. I like your poems that use have made. Maybe next time put the text colour into something that others can read. Good work keep it up.
