What did I learn today by Jarrod

Today in Room 7 we did R.E, math and reading.

In R.E we had to find out why Jesus saved us. We had to come up with our own ideas and find out what salvation means. Salvation means when to save someone. We then had to put the definition into our glossary at the back of our R.E books

In Math we did fractions. We had to show our working outs so that other people would know how we got our answers. We did a lot of hard math questions.

In reading we read a story called ‘In the Eye of the Storm’. It was about a cyclone that hit Niue, It was a very long story to read. We then had to write a report to the government of Niue why they should build storm- proof houses.

Guitar Practise by John

On Sunday my family and I went to church. We prayed and sang songs until Mass ended.

After Mass we went to Sylvia Park to buy the things that we needed for this week. As we passed Eb Games I saw flash, new games that was going to be released this September and I wanted to pre-order one of them. I asked my mum if I could but she said maybe, so I’ll have to wait until the end of this term if I can get one.

Next we had a bit of lunch and then we went straight home. Once we arrived I took out my guitar and the computer to search for a song that was easy for me to play since I was a beginner. I was practising on changing of chords. I had to keep repeating the video so that I could understand what I was doing.

By the time I finished it was 8 o'clock and I had to go to bed. I had a lot of fun and I hope I have more free time so I could keep practising and become better.

Making a connection by Kryzjon

"My digital media life is like a famous sports player because there is a connection with fans and friends"
I have been learning how to recognise how my media life is positive. My simile shows how fans can be like friends when we can be positive, thoughtful and helpful.

Tevita the Angel

In Room 7 for R.E we have been learning about the story of the Rainbow People. We rewrote the story of the Rainbow People and made it into an E-Book. It is important to share what we have with others so we can be more like Jesus.

I compared the virtues of Stan Walker and Jennifer Lopez together  and I realized that they have a lot of virtues in common.
