Freeze Frame Time.

 


Another exciting task in our exploration of "The Emperor and The Magic Goose" was to put ourselves into the roles of members of the town where the main story takes place in this legend. As you can see, the children enjoy exploring this story through actions.

Using Drama To Understand What We Have Read

This past week, students in Room 7 have been exploring the events detailed in "The Green Children" a myth adapted by Professor Julie Dunn, Griffith University and Professor John O’Toole, University of Melbourne.

The below video documents the children's first day at school in the village. Groups have put themselves in the shoes of various people involved to help them understand what was going on during this time.
